Video: Letter from Luzira: Besigye writes to ailing Kakayi - #Uganda

Imprisoned opposition leader Dr. Wrn Kizza-Besigye has penned a note to Kakayi Zeridah from Luzira maximum prison.
Forum for Democratic Change [FDC] secretary for youth affairs Zeridah Kakayi is currently admitted at Zerida orthopaedic facility in Wakiso district after being abducted and tortured by unknown men.
Kakayi was kidnapped on May 11 by unknown assailants who bundled her into a waiting vehicle outside Christ the King Parish Church in the heart of Kampala city.
Men apparently put her on gunpoint and forced her into a vehicle before being drugged.
Kakayi later woke up in a hut in an unknown place where she was tortured.
“A man grabbed me and tore my dress off. I screamed. Then he slapped, punched and kicked me to keep quiet.”
Kakayi was later abandoned at Aswa bridge in Gulu district.
This is Besigye’s letter to her:
"I’ve got some information about your situation. Very sad about what you've gone through. You've been in my thoughts and prayers. Remain strong. We shall overcome. God bless you. KIZZA Besigye.
