Dr Kizza Besigye is apparently one of the biggest problems in #Uganda.

This Dr. Kizza Besigye is turning out to be a problem. I do not even understand why that man thinks that he needs to go grocery shopping. As if he needs food. Worse than that are these youth running around praising him. Why would anyone do that? Dr, KB, face life, you are much loved and this is not good for ‪#‎Uganda‬. Try Exile. I think you should consider Canada this time around. You know where to find me.
Police on Friday afternoon blocked a rally by National Association of the Unemployed (NAU) youth, which former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president Dr Kizza Besigye, was going to address in Nateete, a Kampala suburb.
The previous day, police had authorised the group to hold the rally but upon the announcement that the FDC founder was going to address the gathering, police stopped it.
Police deployed heavily around the venue. They also confiscated a vehicle carrying the public address system which was announcing Dr Besigye’s impending arrival.
Mr Brian Atuheire, who led the NAU team, tried to reason with the police commanders to allow the meeting but they told him to choose another day.
“We had prepared to give them security on March 19, but they decided to postpone their event to today. So we cannot provide them security because their meeting is illegal,” Ibrahim Saiga the Nateete police boss said. Dr Besigye cancelled his visit to the venue but police kept vigil at the scene until late evening.
