VIDEO: Court assessors tell judge to dismiss charges against Muslim clerics - #Uganda #HumanRights

Al Jazeera did a documentary on the killings of the clerics in Uganda and this video is attached at the bottom of this story.  It is not a surprise that insufficient proof was provided for the charges against these Muslims.  It is public knowledge and should be International knowledge that the government of Uganda, specifically President Yoweri Museveni and his chief of Police General Kale Kayihura discriminate against Muslims and have been undermining and killing Muslims for many years now.
The assassinations of key people in Uganda are always blamed on the defunct ADF or just simply on Muslims.  Many Muslims are languishing in Uganda "safe" houses (torture chambers), in jails and the notorious Nalufenya in Jinja.  Only this year we have witnessed assassinations that have lead to Muslims being arrested and paraded on camera with torture wounds.
Muslim women and children have been arrested with babies as young as an epileptic toddler of 2yrs of age.  If Ugandans think these are Muslim problems, then they need to understand how fascist regimes work. They start with one group and move onto the next till you all tremble in fear and beg your tormentor to be your protect.
If the International Community, donors and funders continue to ignore the plight of Ugandans and the gross Human Rights abuses in Uganda, then you deserve what is coming to you on your own lands.

The three court assessors in the Muslim clerics’ trial have advised the International Crimes Division of the High Court to acquit all the 14 suspects including the former Tablique leader Sheikh Yunus Kamoga of all charges.
The clerics are facing several charges including murder and terrorism.
The assessors, whose opinion was read out by Robert Lubega Sseguya, in summary told court on Tuesday that prosecution failed to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt that the charges of terrorism, two counts of murdering sheikhs; Mustafa Bahiga and Ibrahim Hassan Kirya and the charge of attempted murder were committed by the suspects.
"We therefore advise court that all the accused persons be acquitted due to lack of sufficient evidence," assessor Lubega advised court
Other court assessors were; Ahmed Dumba and Judith Muhairwe.
To that effect, lead judge Ezekiel Muhanguzi set August 11 to give his final verdict.
The assessors’ opinion is however not bidding on the judges as they can agree with or depart from it.
