#Muslim persecution #Uganda police hold 15 kids for #Kaweesi murder - @IGPUganda @aKasingye @StateHouseUg @KagutaMuseveni @BBC @AlJazeera @WSJ @Sputnik @EUAmbSchmidt @USAmbUganda ‏@KenRoth

The world must take this gross violation of human rights very seriously.  This same police force denied last week that it had these kids. Then this week they did an about face and said they had the kids and would release them.  Now they say they have the kids in a foster home in Mukono, will not allow the mothers to see them and are contemplating charges of human trafficking.
Dear World, in Uganda, a man with 3 wives and 15 kids is a very small family.  What Uganda police is doing is twisting the arms of these women to force them to confess that their husband was involved in the Kaweesi assassination.  He was not. In fact, none of the 13 grown ups who were tortured in the Nalufenya Dungeon and are now in Luzira recovering from severe beatings, are capable of having planned or assassinated Kaweesi.
Gen. Kale Kayihura and Asan Kasingye know very well who killed Kaweesi.  It was an inside job. They know it and will never admit it.  Even President Yoweri Miuseveni suspects it that Kayihura organised the assassination of Kaweesi to cover up for all the crime he has let reign in the police force.  The fact that he has now arrested children and we even have no idea if the children are alive (remember #Kasese Massacre), there is no telling to what extent he will go to place the kill on someone else.
The International Community needs to understand the criminal mindset of the Museveni regime. They kill and maim with impunity because you all turn your heads away.  Be assured that when all this is over, "we shall not remember our enemies. We shall remember you pretentious friends who did nothing as our people were being killed".  I believe that most of us here have children.
Would you let your children be detained from you for coming to 2 months without you seeing them?  Better even, if you went to the authorities and you were told to just forget those children, get another husband and have other kids, would you not be worried that your children might have been killed and ended up in a mass grave like in Kasese.  AND by the way, you are such hypocrites. Why do you fund the Museveni regime when you know very well they killed over 35 children in Kasese and do not account for it?
Even worse, there are 2 kidnapped American children being held in Uganda whose kidnapper was released by Asan Kasingye in violation of Interpol arrest, in fact in violation of other  agreements Uganda has internationally.  Museveni was right.  You are stupid and useless.
WE DEMAND FOR A VISIT BY THE MOTHERS TO THE ORPHANAGE TO SEE THEIR CHILDREN TODAY MAY 11, 2017 or latest MAY 12, 2017 (in case you have to bandage their wounds and that sort of thing).

Police has maintained custody of 15 minors, believed to be offspring's to Abdul Rashid Mbazira and Higenyi Ramathan, some of the suspects in the murder of police spokesman Andrew Felix Kaweesi.

The children aged between 2-14 years were taken into custody on March 19, two days after the tragedy in which Kaweesi was killed alongside his bodyguard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Mambewa in Kulambiro, a suburb of Kampala.

In the aftermath, 13 people including Mbazira and Higenyi were arrested for masterminding the attack. Mbazira was arrested with his three wives and 15 children from their home in Namasengere village, Nabaale sub county, Mukono district. The wives were later released on police bond.

However, the whereabouts of the children remained unknown until this week when police, following public uproar, stated that the children were confined at a foster home in Mukono.  Their mothers have since camped at Naggalama police station demanding for their release.

Following a meeting held between police and five of the mothers yesterday, police said that they are now investigating a possible child trafficking racket headed by the family.
Kampala Metropolitan political commissar and spokesperson Emilian Kayima says several measures including DNA tests will be undertaken to prove the legitimacy of the parents, before the children are released.

He says it was resolved that investigations into security of the children be handed over to Anti-Human Trafficking office at the ministry of Internal affairs.

“The possibility of aggravated trafficking in persons for use in armed conflict and other illegal activities is imminent for the children given the ramifications explained. A team of experts headed by commissioner Moses Binoga, who, is the national coordinator of trafficking in humans is going to head these investigations. Truth will be established soon and we shall keep everyone informed more so, the mothers. We have explained to the mothers [that] we have had an interaction with”, Kayima said.

The mothers however expressed dissatisfaction with the decision. Fatumah Najjuma, a mother of three of the children says that after seven weeks of searching, it is sad that she cannot have access to her children. One of Najjuma's children is epileptic and paralyzed.

URN was denied access to the Kyampisi Childcare Ministries where the children are allegedly being kept.
