Modern day #Parenting - kids have BIG problems

When I was 15yrs old, I had HUGE problems.

1) Fake a belly ache to skip school if I malaria missed me this month.

2) Belly ache did not work out, distract the class and get sent home.

3) Class distraction not working, starve myself and get sick and hopefully got sent home.

I hated school with a passion and should have ran away. But that luxury was also innaccessible.

Our baby NATASHA is 15 and has all the world's problems.

1)Wake up at 6:30AM to get ready for the school bus after 5hrs of sleep because her homework had to be done. Absolute nonsense if you ask me.

2) Do her make up and hair while eating breakfast and ordering her lunch bag.  So this is where mommy pipes in and tells her she looks awesome.

3) Pack her school things and gymn bag. God forbid if she forgets her racket.

4) SnapChat while texting her big sister to ask something in Biology.

5) Check the club practice and her work schedule and then play some Mozart or Adelle becore heading out.

But recently she realised that I have been right all this time.  I told her not to be less self conscience.

I watched her brushing her hair and doing her make up and I told her she looked wonderful and she smiled.
