#Malaysia minister tips #Museveni on modernising #Uganda

These people are also jokers.  The former enjoy from Uganda to Malaysia was a Malaysian woman who used to fight for girl / women rights.  They killed him Kuala Lampur via dictator and no one asked any questions.

Now they want to help Uganda develop like their country.  Last time I looked, Malaysia had its own problems.  Fix your backyard first.  Temutumanyira kubanga twakoowa dda.

President Yoweri Museveni over the weekend held a discussion with the Malaysian Transformation Minister,  Hon. Dato Sri Idris Jala, who delivered a lecture at the ongoing leaders retreat at Kyankwanzi.

Jala's presentation to focused on how a third world country can move to a middle-income country using Malaysia as a case study.

Among key issues, he said having good plans alone is not enough.
Governments should endeavour to implement these plans, Jala advised.

He said there must be prioritization because a government cannot deal with everything at the same time lest it fails in everything.

Budgets must be fashioned to give priority to areas government considers are important, he continued.

"I totally agree with his submissions," President Yoweri Museveni who hosted the minister later said.

"These are the things I have been talking about and we must implement them if Uganda is to become a middle-income country," Museveni added.
