[STATEMENT FROM RABBA NAGA, THE FREEDOM STRUGGLE LEADER WORKING FROM INSIDE THE #MUSEVENI CAMP ON THE HIGH COURT RULING WHICH FREED GENERAL SEJUSA FROM THE ARMY – 29/05/2016.]
First, I must pay tribute to her Lordship, Margret Oumo Oguli. What a lady. What a gallant Ugandan, she made Ugandans gain some self-respect following the tearing down of our country by the Museveni thuggery. Yet, she is just a high court judge, with her juniors and less capable manning higher courts. That is why this struggle for liberation, equality and respect must continue. Long live Lady judge.
The Sejjusa case has had a good ending - his freedom. Of course for a freedom fighter like him, even without it, the struggle would be fought until it is won. But still it is an important victory, for it brings about a new dimension in our political struggle. I will, in detail, share with readers on the General's plans.
Only two things for now,
We need not worry about those ramblings from the dictatorship. They can appeal if they want but I hope they understand what dragging this would do.
Sejjusa didn’t run into exile to go and enjoy English Summer. He run away from killer squads of the dictatorship. They ultimately got Aronda who thought he could manage from within. There are many things that remain unsaid, attack on Mbuya barracks, the gunning down of people in Entebbe in 2013, and other high profile eliminations. The plot against Mbabazi .... I suppose we shall hear a lot more.
The other point to note is the fact that the general's struggle is struggle for freedom. So these trials are not necessarily bad. A struggle takes many shapes. Court struggles by the resistance leaders are part of that. They help the struggle in many forms. This I will write about.
Therefore, let us enjoy the victory the general attained, let us pray for the lady justice, let us stand firm in support of the general and all those resisting the dictatorship. And let us remain resolute until the end.
Struggle must continue.
