Police shoots 4 dead near Bombo - #Uganda

Uganda police has Friday shot and killed four armed robbers along Bombo road.
The shootout took place in Mattuga while the robbers were making their way to Kampala.
According to police, the group had a plan to break into Bank of Africa, Stanbic, Pride Microfinance and FINCA Kawempe branches.
They are believed to be the same gang that robbed Bank of Africa Bullion van along Gulu-Kampala road in March this year.

Police preliminary investigations reveal that deadly group has been staging different road blocks along the city and other parts of the country where they rob and kill passengers after getting the money.
After putting them out of action today, police also recovered an AK 47 gun and rounds of ammunition.
Some of the captured gang members were detained at Kawempe police station.
