Uganda ranked 7th most influential African nation

[Well, this should come as no surprise to anyone given that we invade our neighbours, plunder and kill, loot their resources, send in our army to restore peace and I have even heard that we aid the rebels or dictators in place.  We have a very strong army (UPDF) trained and funded by USA.  You can ask Sadam Hussein and Gadafi what a strong army can do to participate in toppling the current regime when it goes astray.  Aaaaa, let me enjoy my sleep.  At least Museveni brought sleep.]
Uganda was recently rated as the 7th Most Influential Nation in Africa out of 54 countries.
This is partly due to the exemplary performance of the army, the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) and sound economic management of the NRM Government.
With four Countries in the top 10, East Africa seems to be the most influential region on the African continent.
