Tororo women 'go naked' over vote recount - #Uganda

[Yeah, I was also expecting some nudity here but wapi!  In any case, when we are in France, we go to clothes optional beaches so Uganda's obsession with nudity is beyond my family.  Dude, you were born naked!]
Reports from Tororo district indicate that a group of women Monday stripped naked in a protest of election results.
The women were reportedly protesting the recount of votes in the Tororo MP race won by Yeri Apollo who beat incumbent Sanjay Tanna.
Ofwono was declared winner after he polled 7, 149 against Tanna’s 7, 045 votes.
Tanna disputed his loss to NRM’s Ofwono and successfully petitioned Tororo chief magistrates court through his lawyer, Yusuf Mutembule, demanding for a recount.
There was heavy police deployment at Tororo magistrates court on Monday ahead of the recount.
Meanwhile, NBS TV reported that women stripped naked in protest forcing the process to be cancelled.
Tororo chief magistrate, Esther Nakadama Mubiru, called off the vote recount after finding out that some ballot boxes had been opened.
The three ballots boxes were from Water Village O-Z, Agururu ‘B’ and Amagoro ‘A’ polling stations.
Nakadama said she couldn’t proceed with a recount on the ballot boxes that have already been tempered with.
