EU pushes #Uganda EC to publish all election results

European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) has asked the Uganda Electoral Commission to publish without delay the detailed results from each polling station for the presidential and parliamentary elections online.
This will also include scanned copies of the Declaration of Results Forms.
The mission says this would enable voters, as well as the candidates, to comprehensively evaluate the election results.
EU EOM Chief Observer, Eduard Kukan, insists EC must be accountable to Ugandan voters.
The EU Electoral Observation Mission to Uganda was established on Dec 28, 2015 at the invitation of the Ugandan government.
It sent 137 observers to monitor February 18 elections.
