BUT NOW WHAT IS THE SOUTH SQUARE MILES OF SOUTH SUDAN. SO INSTEAD OF STOPPING THE WAR THEY HAVE FORMED 28 STATES. OMG, SOMEONE SLAP ME AWAKE. Kano kanyumidde.
South Sudan is 619,745 km². Population is 11 930 349.
The province of New Brunswick Canada is 72,908 km². Population is 754,000
Let us play a maths game.
Take South Sudan and divide it by 28. You get 22133.75 per state. The population would be 42, 6083 per state. Guestimating here but you get the point.
The GDP for South Sudan is $1,111.
New Brunswick Canada GDP is $32,056.
Here is where the numbers get interesting. So you are going to take South Sudan, divide it into 28 states, each with Administrative overhead. And these African countries can have massive overhead. Administrative salaries. Meanwhile New Brunswick has many many multiples of GDP compared to South Sudan. We are only one provincial administration (we have our own issues but my goodness, imagine).
You know what, I give up. Some of these Africans must be better at number fudging than I can imagine.
Good luck people. Below is an article on the 28 States being celebrated.

ps: I live in one of the poorest provinces. The Canadian GDP is $55,000.
