If you miss any of them when they vanish off Social Media, then please tell them that they are missed when they go off the radar.  I will not mention the names of the key ones for Uganda now as most of you know them.  This past two weeks have been nothing short of insane with two going off the radar.  One was arrested for another one who was mistaken for the arrested one.  The one who was not arrested kept posting on Face Book.  He got livid and shut down his own account but now that the one who was arrested in place of him is out of jail is free, he is back on Face Book.  We have had 2 other friends also go off the grid.  One is back now and okay.  We have one still missing.  Social Media is a strong network.  All of us keep in touch with each other or communicate with each other when we are travelling or going missing so that we can assure the followers that all is okay.  The one who is currently missing has not communicated for 5 days now to anyone whom he usually keeps in touch with.  Naturally we are worried.

Activism is not a job for everyone. Most of us have paying jobs and families.  What we do for Uganda is out of pure desire to inform and educate our people as knowledge in Uganda has been hidden from the masses for decades.  Social Media (espeically FB and whatsap) helps to reach our people and inform them and inform them.  Please do not take us for granted.  We are not affiliated with any political parties except that we want our people to be informed all the time.  You read your own news on FB and whatsap because there are many who are dedicated to bring this information to you.  Accusing any of us of supporting one party or candidate undermines the work we do.  Please try to stick to the information we bring you.

We want to thank all the people who read daily and get concerned when any of us goes off line for some time.  I was off line for 7hrs and some Ugandans sent messages asking if I was okay.  Because I share news from Uganda, some of which is bombastic, people worry about my safety.  I am okay friends.  And all the key people I know are okay.  HOWEVER.

This one activist is missing since Thursday June 11, 2015 and none of us have heard from him.  So we are worried about this brother.  If you can circulate his picture all over Uganda and tell him we all miss him, we will thank you.  He is prolly on a holiday having departed without telling his friends.  But this is not like him. One of us always knows when he is going away.  Help us to bring our brother back.  Thank you.

You would like him if you met him.  Let us bring him back and then you will see the passion in his love for Uganda.  Isaac is what most of us call him. He has a wicked sense of humour too.
