Ugandans Have to be Willing To Work OR else, many will live in Poverty.

I advertise jobs for Uganda where I am looking for people at home to work and get paid.  Most Ugandans think I make jokes.  Let us get one thing clear.  I never joke about 3 things.  Money, Love and Work.

I needed an admin assistant the minute I posted the job.  Ugandans sailed in weeks later.  The person who got the job had applied right away.  She had worked for me in the past and started at age of 6 (yes, kids here are great with computers).  Since this person does not pay rent or buy food,  I needed that job in Uganda.  She is now 13yrs but we had fallen out because she had seen some art I deal and had demanded a double of her salary and I had not fallen for that trick.

Now we have a 13yr old getting paid $50 per week and she only works for 30-60 minutes for 5 days.  She is a Maths genius of some sort so she saw that sometimes her work only takes 5 minutes.

What I fail to understand about Uganda is why no one immediately applied for a job that would pay $200 per month working only 12-20hrs a month?  We have other benefits when you work with our team.   Like Tuition for your kids, medical coverage, internet and phone.  You can ask anyone who was on our team in 2013 and we give laptops that you get to keep even if you quit.

Please someone tell me what I am doing so wrong.  I need our team to move work into Uganda but if people do not read what I post or use Unglish, There are so many of us trying to help in Uganda but Ugandans do not seem to want genuine work.

ps:  my assistant was around 7 or 8yrs old when I watched her taping boxes of export goods and writing down the weight of each carton.  Ugandans do not even how to convert between the kilo and pound.  We need a strongly informed and educated youth in Uganda.
